Archipelago of Possible Futures
Launched at the 2024 New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels, the Archipelago of Possible Futures is a growing platform connecting Europe's cultural, scientific, and technological institutions. In response to today's urgent ecological and digital transitions, it offers a space for collective imagination, experimentation, and collaboration.
We link museums, biennales, and design studios with Europe's most advanced public infrastructure — supercomputers, AI labs, and quantum research — to shape inclusive and sustainable futures.
Our Mission
- Embed artistic research and critical imagination into EU technology and innovation policy
- Bridge science, technology, the arts, and European R&I strategies
- Leverage public infrastructure for democratic, sustainable innovation

We host annual summits and site-specific labs:
